Responsibilities

• Assist Crews and electricians with material requests
• Assist service department with material requests and locating Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
• Assist Warehouse Manager with fleet maintenance
• Operate various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles
• Hotshot material and will-call pickups
• Refill all itemized bags
• Run recycle and pallet drop-offs
• Keep parts cage neat and organized at all times
• Reduce material waste
• Ability to do data entry
• Complete any general office and warehouse cleaning
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, and/or Regional Operations Manager (ROM)

• Must be highly organized and process-oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have a valid state driver’s license
• Knowledge of basic warehouse safety regulations and procedures
• Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Forklift operator experience preferred
• Solar and electrical product knowledge
• General computer (Microsoft), Excel, email skills, and basic data entry
• Building collaborative relationships
• Self-leadership and team player
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Result-driven and self-motivated
• Must be schedule-flexible

Education and Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required
• Must have a valid state driver’s license
• Prior forklift experience required
• Solar warehouse experience is preferred

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Light lifting and carrying (under 15 lbs)
• Straight pulling and simple grasping
• Walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods
• Operating office equipment and motor vehicles
• Ability to see, identify colors, and hear (with aid if needed)
• Ability to write, count, read, and tell time
• Travel by car up to 10% of the time
• Work performed indoors
• Must be able to work both independently and with others
