Responsibilities :
The Data Analyst will support Barrow Wise's GSA project and perform the following duties :
- Organize and analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data sets using data analytical tools, including locating, accessing, merging, cleaning, and standardizing data, and developing derived metrics.
- Develop and/or manage & improve existing Google Apps Scripts for various reports and dashboards.
- Consult, develop, and build base requirements for automated reporting tools related to leasing and workload analysis.
- Establish data pipelines and develop best practices for data management in collaboration with the business line.
- Migrate all READ Reports to Google for improved reporting.
- Create and implement data collection and analysis tools using programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, Scala, Java, and maintain Google sites and web applications.
- Automate manual processes and develop ad hoc reporting solutions, including Oracle to UNIX conversions when required.
- Translate and convert SQL scripts with UNIX shell commands to Oracle BI publisher.
- Utilize Google Apps Scripts to automate tasks using JavaScript ES6, adhering to GSA-approved tools and platforms.
- Leverage tools like SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, Google Data Studio for data automation and transformation.
- Develop Google web services and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery).
- Check the accuracy of calculations, including present value analysis and cash flows.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 where required.
- Document code properly for future migration and maintenance.
An Ideal Candidate has :
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
- At least 3 years' experience with data processing, analysis, and visualization tools like VBA, SQL, Python, Java, GIS, Tableau, BigQuery, and Google Data Studio in a professional setting
- Experience in improving operational and reporting data processes and infrastructure
- Proficiency in data manipulation, management, and reporting
- Coding skills in SQL and Python
- Advanced experience with Google Suite / Workspace / Sheets / Excel
