Teradata Data Analyst

Work Location : Buffalo, NY (Onsite)

• Analyze business requirements and map them to the Teradata Financial Services Data Model (FSDM).
• Perform data gap analysis, data mapping, and data lineage documentation across source and target systems.
• Work with data engineering teams to implement ETL / ELT pipelines aligned with FSDM structures and standards.
• Collaborate with data modelers to extend or customize the Teradata FSDM to meet specific business needs.
• Design and validate logical and physical data models for financial subject areas (e.g., customer, account, loan, transaction).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Create data dictionaries, business glossaries, and documentation to support data governance and metadata initiatives.
• Support QA and UAT by validating data transformation logic and FSDM alignment.
