Overview
Trustpoint.One is partnering with a dynamic full-service Texas-based firm in their search for a Construction Attorney. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Texas, located in the DFW area, and meet the following requirements:
- At least five years of prior construction litigation experience.
- Strong academic credentials and previous law firm experience.
- Experience assisting with or managing all phases of litigation, including propounding and responding to discovery, performing legal research, drafting motions and briefs, taking and defending depositions and preparing for hearings, mediation and trial.
- Firm offers a collegial environment, with an opportunity to develop trial skills and be provided with training and mentorship.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support litigation cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with clients to gather information and develop case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice.
Qualifications
- At least five years of construction litigation experience.
- Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience.
- Experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, research, drafting, depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
- Adaptive, team-oriented, and able to work in a collegial environment; willingness to receive training and mentorship.
