Job Description
Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a leading Real Estate investor in Orange County, specializing in multifamily and retail properties. We offer excellent benefits and a competitive compensation package. Our client values a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
We are seeking a Project Accountant to support the accounting and operations team. This role is newly created due to growth, with multiple development projects planned for 2025, and reports to the Development Director.
Responsibilities
- Set up projects in Yardi Construction Manager system
- Maintain project files, including budgets
- Reconcile project costs with the general ledger and perform financial analysis
- Prepare and review client invoices reflecting contract billing terms
- Perform collections on billable projects and provide other accounting support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of post-graduate experience
- Experience in project accounting, budgeting, and billing in commercial, industrial, or multifamily industries
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Yardi is a plus
