Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar
• Check clients in/out, process payments, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with veterinary staff regarding patient needs and client concerns
• Handle client inquiries with empathy and discretion
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers and practice management software (training provided)
• Compassion for animals and understanding of the human–animal bond
