The Video Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s objectives and campaign goals. The role demands strong storytelling ability, technical expertise in video production, and a creative eye for packaging content across digital platforms. The candidate will also contribute to graphic design and creative tasks (approx. 20% of responsibilities) to support campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and impactful communication. The Video Editor will collaborate with the social media, digital marketing, and branding teams to create engaging video content for multiple formats and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production & Editing

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for social media, digital ads, campaigns, and brand communications.

Manage end-to-end video workflows — storyboarding, shooting, editing, sound design, and final delivery.

Deliver short-form and long-form content tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Ensure timely turnaround of videos while maintaining creativity and technical excellence.

2. Motion Graphics & Creative Packaging

Design and integrate motion graphics, animated titles, and infographics into video projects.

Enhance storytelling with typography, transitions, and brand-aligned visual effects.

Create teaser videos, reels, GIFs, and other motion-driven assets for engagement.

3. Content Adaptation for Platforms

Produce content variations for organic social media posts, ads, and website embeds.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video outputs.

4. Shooting & On-Site Coverage

Conduct video shoots for events, corporate interviews, testimonials, behind-the-scenes, and brand campaigns.

Operate camera and audio equipment effectively to ensure professional-quality recordings.

Collaborate with teams to capture real-time content (e.g., health camps, corporate wellness activities, events).

5. Creative & Graphic Support (20%)

Support in designing thumbnails, static creatives, posters, and social banners when required.

Assist the design team with simple graphic tasks to ensure campaign delivery timelines are met.

Repurpose video content into design-friendly formats for cross-platform promotion.

Work closely with the social media, digital marketing, and branding teams for campaign planning.

Collaborate with event teams for live coverage and promotional assets.

Liaise with vendors or production partners for larger video projects.

7. Process & Asset Management

Maintain organized video libraries, templates, and raw footage archives.

Ensure all video outputs are in compliance with brand guidelines.

Continuously explore new editing techniques, tools, and creative formats to improve efficiency and impact.

  • Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Motion Graphics: Proficiency in After Effects or similar tools.
  • Camera Handling: Knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Creative Eye: Strong storytelling, pacing, and attention to visual detail.
  • Basic Graphic Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (for static/motion creatives).
  • Agility: Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and adapt to campaign changes.
  • Collaboration: Strong coordination with marketing, design, and social teams.
  • Innovation: Eagerness to experiment with new video formats (reels, shorts, AR/VR, interactive content).
