Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to join a growing healthcare company based in Boca Raton, FL. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives operating as a one-person HR department. You will support the full scope of Human Resources functions, directly impacting company culture, operations, and overall business success.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Serve as the sole HR leader for approximately 50 employees across the organization.
  • Manage all core HR functions including payroll processing, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and more.
  • Advise and partner closely with ownership, providing insight into employee needs and recommending initiatives to strengthen the organization.
  • Lead special projects, including:
  • Creating or updating the Employee Handbook
  • Designing employee engagement and recognition programs
  • Refining the performance review process
  • Building or improving the future benefits program

Who We\'re Looking For:

  • A self-starter with the ability to independently manage all facets of HR in a small-company environment.
  • Previous experience operating as a one-person HR department is highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a small or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Expertise in recruiting strategies and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Proven ability to train managers and employees, building organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in handling sensitive HR matters.
