Job Description
Join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator to manage personnel files, handle incoming calls, and facilitate daily HR operations. You will play a vital role in onboarding new hires, managing background checks and drug screenings, and ensuring smooth processing of various HR tasks. Additionally, you will provide support for associate relations programs, address inquiries from applicants and associates, and collaborate with HR team members as needed to uphold efficient HR functions.

Responsibilities
- Maintain all personnel files through weekly filing and logging of all pertinent information.
- Answer multi-line telephone within two rings, convey messages and answer simple questions.
- Responsible for daily checks of mailbox and distribution of departmental mail.
- Prepare packets for new hire processing, new hire orientation, and other miscellaneous HR materials.
- Distribute and explain to candidates the background check policy and the pre-employment drug screening process. Maintain spreadsheet with information of who has gone for drug screening.
- Check work references of candidates.
- Coordinate with candidates for in-office new hire processing and ensure all needed items are available for smooth processing.
- Maintain referral spreadsheet.
- Process changes of address, name, marital status, etc.
- Assist with multiple associate relations programs such as service pins, monthly birthdays, health fairs, etc.
- Handle all verbal and written verification of employment and post-employment.
- Assist applicants with online applications and questions.
- Assist associates as needed by answering simple questions or forwarding to the appropriate team member.
- Assist other HR associates as needed.
Qualifications
- One year administrative/office experience preferred.
- Previous Human Resources and/or hotel experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
