Overview

Farley's has been a neighborhood institution for over 36 years. We are committed to uplifting the community through thoughtfully-prepared and ethically-sourced coffee, tea, and food offerings, and through our passion for interpersonal connections, quarterly non-profit events, and support of local artists. We are seeking a new barista to join our team.

Note: Must be available weekends.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-starter with barista experience at third-wave coffee establishments who can work in a fast-paced, cooperative environment and be part of a team in a fun, community-focused coffeehouse.

Qualifications

• Superior barista skills with an interest in the coffee industry
• Ability to taste and describe coffee to customers, dial in espresso according to third-wave standards, and properly steam/pour milk
• Interest in finding an organization with opportunities for growth
• Customer service excellence with ability to build relationships with neighbors
• Great attention to detail and ability to closely follow directions
• Must be available weekends

Compensation

Pay rate DOE + $10/hour in tips.
