Job Description
Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an ADM Business Analyst opening for our client in Houston, TX.
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 9 months
Duties:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ADM initiatives within the Commodity Trading & Price Risk Management (CTRM) domain.
Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications and ensure alignment with technology solutions.
Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to support solution design, testing, and implementation.
Conduct data analysis and validate integration with market data providers and liquidity platforms.
Ensure business processes and solutions comply with applicable financial regulations (MiFID II, EMIR, FCA).
Provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring cost-to-value competitive approaches.
Prepare project documentation, business process models, and reporting to support decision-making.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams.
Knowledge of market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.) and liquidity aggregation platforms.
Familiarity with financial regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, and FCA guidelines.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Commodity Trading & Price Risk Management (CTRM) or Capital Markets/Investment Banking.
Proven ability to externalize market practices and bring an industry perspective to ensure competitive and cost-effective solutions.
Experience working on ADM-related initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
