Responsibilities

1. Assist with patient care, including sterilizing and assembling instruments, and passing them to the dentist.
2. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
3. Help maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control policies.
4. Support dentists and hygienists during procedures with suctioning and instrument passing.
5. Welcome patients and explain treatment plans to ensure their comfort.
6. Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history, and take x-rays if needed.
7. Schedule follow-up appointments and answer patient questions about dental hygiene.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) in MN or soon-to-be-licensed.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• Proficiency with dental software and updating patient records.
• Associate’s Degree or certification from an accredited college or technical program.
• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered or certified dental assistant.

Compensation: $21 - $33 hourly
