We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our team in the insurance industry. This role is key in supporting policyholders, answering inquiries, and providing high-quality service that ensures client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance policies, claims, billing, and coverage options.
- Provide accurate information and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate customers on policy features, coverage benefits, and available services.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations according to company guidelines.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors as needed.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call volume, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
- Previous call center or customer service experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and CRM platforms.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in challenging situations.
