Kitchen Exhaust/Hood Cleaning Technician Job at Nelbud in New York

Overview

NELBUD is growing and we want you to grow with us. This role is for Kitchen Exhaust/Hood Cleaning Tech. - Third Shift.

We are modernizing the ways of fire protection, kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, grease trap services, and more.

Responsibilities

• Hood kitchen hood cleaning, technical services, and repair
• Fire protection & suppression systems
• Grease trap cleaning and line jetting
• Clean rooftop exhaust fans and surrounding areas
• Installation of auxiliary items including access panels, hinge kits, and grease containment systems
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD

This is a very physically demanding job that has great growth potential. Our technicians climb inside of the hood systems as well as climb on the roof with pressure washers to ensure the entire system is free of all grease.

What You Bring

• Ability to work overnight varying shift times
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work high places — technicians will be inside exhaust systems and outside on the roof nightly in various weather conditions
• Previous experience in a physically demanding job is preferred; this job is physically demanding and can be dirty at times

Driving Position Requirements

• Hold a valid driver's license
• Be at least 20 years old
• Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
