PositionDetails:
- Practice Setting: Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Shift Structure: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 24-hour call and rounding, flexible scheduling preferred
- Weekend Requirements: As scheduled
- On-Call Requirements: Yes
- EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for neonates in a Level II NICU
- Admit, round on, and discharge NICU patients
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including:
- Intubations
- UVC line placements
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and delivery teams
- Document all patient care and procedures accurately in EPIC
Requirements:
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Active Oregon State License
- NCC Certification
- Proficiency in neonatal intubation and UVC line placement
- Experience providing independent care in a Level II NICU setting
