Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide emergency medical care and intervention for diverse patient populations
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately using Epic EMR
  • Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and perform advanced life support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements

Additional Information
  • Must have a valid North Carolina license for nurse practitioners
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR platform
  • Recent emergency department experience in comparable facilities is required
