Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care and intervention for diverse patient populations
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff in a fast-paced environment
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately using Epic EMR
- Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and perform advanced life support as needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must have a valid North Carolina license for nurse practitioners
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR platform
- Recent emergency department experience in comparable facilities is required
