We are seeking an Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role offers a weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a minimum onsite requirement of three days per week. Qualified candidates must have at least two years of experience, be boarded in addiction medicine and psychiatry, and hold active NY licensure. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations for patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders
  • Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and psychiatric conditions
  • Address co-occurring psychiatric and substance use issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed in New York
  • Required board certifications: Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Spanish language skills preferred
