Responsibilities:
Lead and report on progress of the project while leading a team of 12-20 contracted field technicians deployed across 4 hospitals and 90+ ambulatory locations Act as a liaison between the technical team and the application team for all device-related topics Update end-user device project plans, trackers, and other work plans Coordinate end-user hardware inventory, assessments, procurement, deployment, and testing needed to support the Epic implementation, including, but not limited to, workstations, printers, mobile carts, and peripherals Schedule and coordinating visits to each go-live site to assess current and future state end-user hardware and perform gap analysis based on application workflow scope Schedule and coordinate technical dress rehearsal (TDR) to test all end-user hardware and track issues to resolution for all go-live locations Coordinate with the application project managers to provide peripherals, storage, and other hardware needed for testing
Qualifications:
4+ years of IT project management or technical leadership experience, preferably in healthcare IT Familiarity with deployment tools (SCCM, Intune) Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment Strong in project management * no PMP required Strong communicator Strong technical skills. Windows 10 and 11, Scanners, Badge Readers, printers and printing process both Windows printing and Epic Server-side printing Experience with end-user device management (Windows, mobile platforms, VDI, Citrix, etc.) Strong Excel for reporting Strong knowledge of Epic systems, workflows, and technical requirements
