Position Summary Under general supervision from the Event Manager, the
Guest Services
role will be an essential part of the Guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, concourse customer service, greeter and/or team related services. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a World Class experience. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching
This position will remain open until December 19, 2025.
About the Venue Oak View Group (OVG) is the venue manager and food and beverage provider of
SoFi Center , a first-of-its-kind venue located in Palm Beach Gardens on the campus of Palm Beach State College. SoFi Center will be the home of the TGL Golf League, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy, TGL presented by SoFi is a new golf league, combining advanced technology with teams of top players from the PGA TOUR for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time. The arena will seat about 1,500 people and featured matches between 6 teams.
Responsibilities
Prepare your assigned section for guests; this could include wiping down seats, looking for potential hazards, reporting any issues to a supervisor
Direct and Manager the foot traffic flow of large crowds
When gates open, welcome our fans with a great smile and helpful attitude
Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats
Being alert and proactive to potential hazards and reporting incidents when they occur
Monitor your assigned area for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our fans
Respond to all guest concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional manner
Assist guests in ADA accessible seating sections
Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests
Be knowledgeable about arena emergency evacuation plan in order to safely assist guests during the unlikely event of an emergency.
Prevent or diffuse situations
Maintain order and report suspicious activity
Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Experience in a public facility highly preferred
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of team
Must have the ability to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
