The Nursing Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. This position oversees the nursing staff and coordinates comprehensive wellness programs that promote residents’ physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The Director will implement best practices in nursing care, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and foster a positive, supportive work environment for staff and residents alike. Minimum Qualifications
Licensed
Registered Nurse (RN)
or
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
in the state of Illinois.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
geriatric care
or
supportive living environments .
Certification in
nursing administration
or a related specialty.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring quality care and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement resident-focused wellness programs addressing physical, mental, and emotional health.
Supervise, mentor, and coach nursing staff, supporting professional growth and retention.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to create and update individualized resident care plans.
Conduct regular resident health assessments, adjusting care plans as needed.

Leadership:
Ability to guide, motivate, and inspire nursing teams.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with residents, families, and medical professionals.
Critical Thinking:
Skilled in assessing resident needs and making sound clinical decisions.
