What does a successful Regional Business Development Manager do? At Fiserv, the Regional Business Development Manager is a strategic relationship builder and growth driver. They manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact. Their focus is on retaining and expanding business by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, delivering consultative solutions, and fostering long-term client relationships. Success in this role is measured by client retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. What you will do: Managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term value. Identifying and executing growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling aligned with client goals. Delivering consultative solutions by understanding client challenges and recommending tailored products and services. Responding quickly to client inquiries and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and deliver results. Tracking and analyzing account performance, proactively addressing risks and identifying areas for improvement. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in Salesforce. Collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless and value-driven client experience. Staying informed on product updates, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to position offerings effectively. What you will need to have: 4+ years of experience in managing client relationships and driving account growth. 4+ years of experience in strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align client needs with business solutions. 4+ years of experience in monitoring account health and resolving issues. Proficiency in Salesforce. High school diploma and/or equivalent military experience. What would be great to have: 1-2 years of experience in Partner and Merchant Solutions or similar industries. Familiarity with Payments industry trends and competitive landscape. A track record of achieving revenue growth and upsell/cross-sell conversion targets. High client satisfaction scores (e.g., Likely to Recommend score of 4.5/5 or higher). Salary Range $78,500.00 - $167,100.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in Massachusetts, California (excluding Sunnyvale) and District of Columbia.
