Job Description Summary As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an important role with the onsite management team. Our Leasing Consultants work with a highly trained team to support your success. They create positive first impressions through friendly interactions, building rapport with prospects and residents, and contributing to a welcoming environment. You will manage your success by achieving leasing goals such as occupancy and rent growth, and by fostering relationships with prospects and residents.
Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: **Must be Bilingual in Spanish** Tour the property with prospects, answer questions about amenities, community, and grounds. Highlight the community's quality and lifestyle benefits to drive sales. Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment by collecting information and initiating background checks. Ensure apartments are ready for move-in. Provide excellent service to residents to exceed expectations and promote retention. Perform office activities and coordinate paperwork related to rentals with attention to detail. Other duties as assigned. COMPETENCIES: Effective communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills in a Windows environment. Assist leasing staff with activities. Courteous and professional demeanor. Well-organized with ability to meet deadlines. Follow company policies and procedures. Professionalism and teamwork. EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of related experience. Bilingual in Spanish required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional office environment, using standard office equipment. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, walking, climbing stairs, and traveling outdoors in weather conditions. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and operate office machinery. Travel up to 5%.
