About the role
This role plays a key part in managing purchasing activities, tracking inventory, verifying billing accuracy, and supporting month-end financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of cost accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing: Create and monitor Purchase Orders (POs), including tracking open POs and ensuring data accuracy. Receiving: Validate PO line items to confirm accurate receipt of goods and services. Billing: Ensure vendor invoices align with POs and confirm there are no duplicate charges. Inventory: Work closely with regional administrators to ensure proper issuance of inventory items (e.g., beacons, routers, cabinets) to jobs. Month-end: Assist with month-end close checklist and data validation for the monthly financial reporting.
Qualifications:
35 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role required. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in Telecommunications industry preferred. Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and
purchasing/inventory
workflows. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
