BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – PERFORMANCE APPAREL
Location: United States (Ideally based in Texas, Florida, California, or the Midwest) Position Summary
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to champion Preciosa’s growth in the U.S. dance, cheer, and performance sportswear market. In this role, you’ll build lasting partnerships with leading uniform manufacturers, dance studios, and cheer programs, helping to bring world-class, premium shine to the heart of performance. This is a unique opportunity to shape our presence in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing industries at the intersection of fashion and sports. Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and grow strategic B2B partnerships within the dance, cheer, and performance apparel industries. Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the U.S. performance sportswear market. Act as the face of Preciosa in the cheer/dance community, attending key industry events, competitions, and trade shows. Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to closing — while maintaining long-term client relationships. Educate partners and clients on our product offerings, customization options, and embellishment solutions. Provide feedback to internal teams (Product, Marketing, Design) to ensure we meet market needs. Report on sales pipeline, client feedback, and market trends to inform global strategy. Requirements & Qualifications
Based in the U.S., ideally near major cheer hubs (Texas, Florida, California) or dance hubs (Midwest). University Degree or College 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in performance apparel, uniforms, accessories, or related industries. Strong existing relationships with cheer/dance programs, studios, uniform manufacturers, or teamwear brands. Energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote-based role. Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client visits, events, and industry activations. Ideally active in the cheer or dance community (e.g. former athlete, coach, judge, or industry professional). Understanding of customization processes, embellishments (e.g., crystals, rhinestones), and production cycles in apparel. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Marketing experience or understanding of promotional strategy is a strong plus. Spanish language skills are a plus. What We Offer
