A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney in Milwaukee with over seven years of experience. The role involves guiding clients through the estate settlement process, utilizing the firm's extensive resources and diverse legal services. The attorney will work closely with clients and decision-makers, contributing to a high level of client service.
Duties
Develop and implement advanced estate planning strategies, including SLATs, GRATs, IDGTs, CLTs, and FLPs. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents for high-net-worth clients. Advise on wealth transfer strategies, estate/gift tax implications, and charitable planning. Develop and execute business succession plans for family-owned businesses. Collaborate with tax advisors, financial planners, and fiduciaries for integrated planning solutions. Stay current on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax law developments. Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and staff. Requirements
Over seven years of experience in estate planning. Proficiency in drafting complex estate planning documents. Strong understanding of wealth transfer and tax implications. Experience in business succession planning. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Bar admission in the state of Wisconsin. Skills
