Position: Senior Electrical Engineer Sector Focus: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Cleanrooms
Overview We’re seeking a
Senior Electrical Engineer
to lead the design and development of electrical systems for complex environments such as
healthcare facilities, cleanrooms, industrial plants, and manufacturing sites . This is role is focused on hands-on design, documentation, and technical coordination within multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll play a key part in project execution from concept through construction, ensuring systems are efficient, code-compliant, and well-integrated.
Key Responsibilities Lead electrical system design from schematic through construction documents. Apply deep knowledge of code compliance, constructability, and system integration. Develop electrical plans, specifications, arc flash studies, and lighting simulations. Conduct site visits to resolve field issues and interpret design intent. Collaborate with internal teams to define scope, budget, and technical approach. Ensure documentation aligns with performance-based design goals. Use Revit, AutoCAD, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, and EasyPower to support production.
Background Profile Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (EAC/ABET-accredited) or equivalent. Licensed PE or ability to obtain. 10+ years of relevant experience in
healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or cleanroom
projects. Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD. Experience with arc flash software, lighting analysis tools, and power modeling software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Multi-state licensure. CSI-CDT, LEED AP BD+C, or WELL AP certifications. Membership in ASHE, HEALS, ISPE, or related organizations. NCEES registration and/or NSPE membership. Experience contributing to technical publications or presentations.
