Tender Care Animal Hospital of Peoria is searching for a veterinary professional to join our team as a Kennel Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who may not have prior veterinary experience but are excited about the industry.
Candidates must be reliable, friendly, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a flexible full or part-time position with scheduling needs, Mon-Sat. Responsibilities: Animal handling, feeding, and cleaning (dogs and cats) Medication administration Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a veterinarian about a change in one of the patients Client communication and education General hospital cleaning, restocking, sterilization, etc. Assisting with phone lines and front desk duties as needed
Compensation and benefits: Compensation:
