The Role
As a
Packaging Operator , you’ll be a vital part of our production team. Your role centers on operating and supporting packaging lines, ensuring materials flow smoothly, and helping maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a
cross-functional position —in addition to packaging duties, you’ll support related functions such as quality checks, material handling, and training. Your responsibilities will expand as you gain skills and competencies, making this a strong role for someone who wants to grow within pharmaceutical manufacturing. What You’ll Do
Production Support Perform basic packaging tasks, including overfill packing and material replenishment.
Assist production line associates by stocking supplies and covering breaks.
Monitor material flow to prevent disruptions and delays.
Cleaning & Maintenance Carry out cleaning procedures for rooms, machines, and equipment.
Ensure orderly work areas, manage waste, and follow batch change protocols.
Material Handling & Verification Verify quality and specifications of components and materials before use.
Load, unload, label, and track materials using digital systems.
Support order reconciliation and accurate inventory updates.
Quality Support Provide real-time assistance in resolving deviations and non-conformities.
Conduct product inspections and maintain quality documentation.
Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
Training & Development Support team learning by providing guidance and assisting with document control and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in a warehouse, production line, or stock handling environment preferred.
Basic understanding of cGMP and safety principles (training provided if not completed).
Familiarity with digital computer systems.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively with others.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working around moving machinery and moderate noise.
