SUMMARY: As a Seasonal Fulfillment Associate, you will make a direct impact on our customers by driving strategies that ensure our products are available when they're needed. Fulfillment Associates are a key part of helping drive the company’s vision to achieve customer needs in a high performance work system environment. Team member shall strive to achieve daily goals and objectives under the supervision and direction of the leads and Shift Supervisor. Team members shall be expected to perform and participate in any of the assigned departments needed by the business.

SCHEDULE: We offer two different shift availabilities -

Friday to Sunday from 6:00am to 5:30pm

OR

Monday to Thursday from 7:00am to 4:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tracks and moves inventory from reserve storage to the primary storage and then to the picking locations Participates in inventory cycle counting and assists with physical inventory counts Enters data and maintains up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules.); documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action Replenish raw materials (boxes, bubble wrap, etc.) as needed Pack and ship unique, individual, and customized orders Following all quality assurance and safety standards on the production floor for all departments Meeting hourly and daily goals and keeping Supervisor/Manager aware of challenges Effectively communicates up, down and across the organization Manage lead time and prioritize accordingly Propose improvement ideas to make the distribution center more efficient Perform quality assurance on all printed items Utilize our ERP system to manage orders through the distribution center Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor Kit and collection building Secondary packaging and rework Assisting with training of newly employed workers This position is required to work nontraditional hours including scheduled evenings, weekends and holidays, as required by the needs of the organization Other duties, as assigned by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred Must be able to communicate effectively in English Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in any of the following: manufacturing, distribution, packing or assembly Flexibility to work across all shifts to meet business needs Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift to 40 lbs. or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products. Experience with an ERP/WMAS system a plus Detailed oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task Ability to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary framework Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively interact with all levels within the facility and organization Requires oral and written communication skills and the ability to write reports and conduct and participate in meetings.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and/or walk; ascend and/or descend stairs; use hands to finger, handle, feel and/or use tape dispensing gun, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to access product on floor or low shelves; and may operate a hand truck, pallet jack or forklift with up to a 19.5-inch step up (if certified to operate a forklift). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee must occasionally lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place: Pallets from floor onto side, move up to 10 feet and return to original position at a weight up to 55 lbs. The employee must frequently lift, move (in some cases drag items), slide, raise and/or place: Boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. from 5 inches off the ground up to 36 inches high and return to original position.
