Job Description : The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the 19-bed CVICU. The manager will advocate for and allocate resources to ensure high-quality patient care based on current standards of practice. This leadership role involves integrating clinical, human resources, and financial data to support decision-making, as well as promoting research and evidence-based practice. The manager will also contribute to the professional development of staff and help to create a supportive environment to retain and acclimate new employees.

Required Skills : A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN). A current and valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license. An eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may also apply, but the licensee should confirm with the NC Board of Nursing. A minimum of three to five years of recent nursing experience. At least two years of relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification. National Certification in a specialty area (leadership or clinical practice) within one year of accepting the role.
