Marketing Manager

The role involves executing all aspects of the marketing and branding strategies, including but not limited to marketing budgets, social media, websites, digital and print advertising, collateral, and video/photography assets. As a Marketing Manager, you will propose and implement marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Key responsibilities include: Support the Director of Marketing (DOM) in all marketing planning and execution activities, including budgets, social media, websites, digital and print advertising, collateral, and visual assets to maximize exposure and achieve budget, revenue, and market share targets. May act as a liaison between the hotel and regional marketing support, outside agencies, and contracted vendors/service providers; maintain regular interaction with the hotels Director of Marketing & eCommerce. Keys to Success: Build alignment with on-property, regional, and brand marketing teams. Execute the tactical elements of the annual marketing plan effectively. Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Stay informed on new digital strategies, trends, and technologies. Be highly adaptable to seasonality and changing priorities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Branding & Positioning:
Support the execution of messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies; ensure content meets brand standards. Plan & Budget:
Develop strategic marketing plans under the Director of Marketing, with annual, monthly, and segment-level deployment, including cost and deployment strategies across print, digital, and social media; review competitive data, demand analysis, and market mix management. Agency Point of Contact:
May act as the day-to-day agency point of contact to ensure plan execution. Internal Partnerships:
May liaise with internal corporate partners, including Brand, Destination, and ECG. Tactical Marketing Execution & Analysis eCommerce:
Execute eCommerce campaigns within approved budgets; include email, paid media, social media, online listings, and SEO/SEM. Track and analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies/budgets as needed. Project Management:
Oversee development of creative with agencies, ensure timely media placement, production/materials deadlines, and manage project expenses. Website Content:
Manage Brand.com and vanity site content, images, offers, landing pages, and site requirements; ensure legal and security compliance. Collateral Development & Upkeep:
Review and approve on-property/in-room collateral, sales tools, and offers; ensure alignment with brand standards. Third-Party Site Management:
Maintain imagery and content on sites like Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and social platforms. Content & Asset Management:
Identify visual asset needs and coordinate photo/video shoots as needed. Reporting:
Provide ad-hoc reports for leadership and corporate meetings. Meetings, Presentations and Reports: Assist the Director of Marketing in preparing for strategic meetings, hotel executive committee meetings, ownership reviews, and corporate hotel reviews. Prepare marketing activity reports on a regular cadence and as needed. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS: Provide analysis to the Director of Marketing to support the annual business plan and ongoing measurements. Participate in special projects, task forces, committees, and cluster groups as requested. Represent the hotel in related trade, business functions, events, conferences and workshops when appropriate. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Extensive knowledge of marketing channels including digital advertising, eCommerce, and social media. Ability to analyze large amounts of information and communicate clearly in writing and presentations. Strong copywriting and presentation skills. Ability to work with department heads, executive members, and corporate staff; manage multiple projects with time and resource constraints. Software/Program Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), CMS, digital analytics, and social platforms. What are we looking for?
