Overview

Join a collaborative team at the forefront of GenAI innovation, where you’ll transform innovative techniques into practical tools that boost productivity and improve daily life for users. Working closely with product leadership, you’ll help shape requirements and goals, then see them through to execution with ownership and accountability. You’ll also contribute thought leadership in GenAI and Data Engineering, applying your ability to understand and integrate diverse datasets while collaborating with domain experts to unlock new insights and deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Owner to turn vision and requirements into practical software designs that bring GenAI concepts into real-world applications.

  • Contribute to defining coding standards, guidelines, and reusable patterns that help the team deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

  • Build products that integrate services, APIs, databases, and data pipelines, ensuring scalable and resilient architectures.

  • Collaborate with teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing, guiding best practices and learning from others.

  • Explore and evaluate emerging GenAI frameworks, tools, and data systems, recommending new approaches that can shape the product’s direction.

  • Create technical specifications, system diagrams, and architecture proposals to share ideas and solutions with the broader team.

  • Partner with UX designers, domain experts, and data scientists to craft user-focused solutions that combine AI capabilities, data workflows, and intuitive interfaces.

  • Support DevOps processes by contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and the integration of AI models and services into production environments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Strong experience designing and building backend services, microservices, and cloud-hosted applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks .

  • Proficiency with Python and working knowledge of modern ML/AI libraries; hands-on experience integrating GenAI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI , Claude, Gemini) into user-facing applications or service layers.

  • Familiarity with AI agent orchestration, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, OpenSearch, MongoDB Atlas ), and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph or LlamaIndex.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB ), as well as modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.

  • Knowledge of data pipelines and workflows, including ingestion, transformation, cleaning, and preprocessing.

  • Working understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance tuning for production systems; experience building CI/CD pipelines and contributing to DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of modern architectural styles (DDD, event-driven, ports and adapters, microservices) and standard processes for scalable, maintainable systems.

  • Strong foundation in writing clean, maintainable code with OOP principles, unit tests, and design patterns.

  • Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance practices.

  • Thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and excels at balancing rapid prototyping with building scalable, production-ready solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience deploying apps or models in Databricks and using MLOps tooling such as MLflow.

  • Experience building front ends with modern frameworks such as React or Vue connected to RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

  • Experience with other OOP languages such as C#, Java, C++, etc.

  • Familiarity with marketing tech or ad tech domains, including identity graphs, segmentation, and measurement.

  • Ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear narratives for creative, media, or executive audiences.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).

Compensation Range: $72,390 - $99,960 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
