Key Project Requirements:
• 10+ years of field experience overseeing mechanical and piping construction for power generation or industrial steam projects
• Experience supervising subcontractor crews working under ASME Section I / B31.1 / B31.3 piping codes
• Prior experience supporting or leading the installation of package boilers or large utility-scale equipment preferred
• Must be willing to work night shift with significant overtime, including participation in daily turnover meetings with the day shift team

Job Summary:
NAES is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support night shift field operations on an industrial construction project located in the Southeast. This role will oversee mechanical subcontractor activities related to piping installation and ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of the work. The Superintendent will serve as the primary night-shift site representative, maintaining alignment with day shift personnel through regular turnover meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise subcontractor night shift crews (primarily mechanical piping) to ensure productivity and quality
• Monitor piping installation progress in accordance with ASME code and project specifications
• Participate in daily turnover meetings with day shift to review progress, issues, and upcoming work
• Track and document field activities, safety metrics, QA/QC reports, change orders, and extra work logs
• Conduct shift planning meetings with subcontractor supervision to review scope, safety, and productivity goals
• Communicate regularly with site leadership and client representatives regarding status, risks, and coordination

Job Requirements:
• Strong background in mechanical and piping installations, particularly boiler systems
• Experience managing subcontractors on projects valued between $10M-$30M
• Familiarity with piping systems built to ASME Section I, B31.1, or B31.3 standards
• Previous experience with package boiler installation is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, piping isometrics, and QA/QC documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and site coordination skills
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and documentation

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's High school diploma or GED required
• Trade certification or technical training in mechanical/piping systems a plus
