Cleaning Crew Member Job at Luxe Yoga in Houston

We are seeking a Cleaning Crew Member to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, laundry, and turning yoga rooms.  

Responsibilities:

• Keep yoga studios and common areas clean and organized.  
• Collect and do laundry of various towels, fold them in spa style as specified. 
• Collect and remove yoga equipment from rooms once classes are over. 
• Reset the yoga rooms with the required props and towels as instructed by team. 
• Use technical cleaning equipment and products to sanitize all props. 
• Roll and put away yoga mats. 
• Deep clean showers, toilets. 
• Keep cold plunge room and hallways free of water.
• Dusting, window cleaning, mirrors.
• Maintaining of heavy machinery, including floor cleaning robot and sanitizing cabinet. 
• Taking out trash. 
• Unbox supplied and organize custodial spaces.
• Interact in a professional, kind manner. 
• Dress according to our dress code, coming well groomed and alert for the day. 
• Seeking early afternoon, evening and weekend help at this time. 

​Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in cleaning in a business setting - preferred spa or fitness.
• Ability to handle physical workload, lift mats and equipment
• Ability to work in the heated rooms
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Professional working manner, well spoken, respectful
