with EMDR Certification (Virtual Role) We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Counselor or Therapist with EMDR certification to join our COaching, Counseling, and Consulting team at PALM Health. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by providing specialized trauma-informed care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities : - Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns - Utilize EMDR techniques to facilitate trauma processing and emotional healing - Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals - Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care - Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy and mental health treatment - Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies
Skills and Qualifications : - Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent - EMDR certification from a recognized training program - Proven experience in trauma-focused therapy and mental health counseling - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for clients - Knowledge of ethical standards and confidentiality requirements - Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
