Project Manager

A consumer goods company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen operations, enhance quality, and deliver cost savings across the business. This role will oversee projects spanning Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will play a key role in planning, executing, and closing projects while collaborating with diverse teams and engaging stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate brings proven project management experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment. Responsibilities

Develop detailed project charters, plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics in partnership with sponsors and stakeholders. Monitor project budgets, track spending, and ensure adherence to financial parameters. Maintain project schedules with clear milestones and deadlines, escalating risks of delays when needed. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively address obstacles to ensure project continuity and success. Lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Ensure alignment of team activities with strategic goals and project objectives. Partner with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment, provide regular status updates, and manage expectations. Facilitate effective communication across teams and leadership. Ensure projects adhere to company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations. Coordinate with supply chain, regulatory, and commercial partners as required. Maintain accurate project documentation, including scope changes, decisions, and approvals. Deliver clear progress reports and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership. Oversee project closeout, including financial reconciliation, final deliverables, and lessons learned. Capture and share best practices to support continuous improvement. Essential Skills

5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, preferably within CPG industries. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred. Experience getting a warehouse operation up and running or shut down. Bachelor's degree in business, project management, supply chain, or a related field. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP). Experience leading projects from initiation through execution and closeout. Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, and candidates must be comfortable working PST hours. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, California. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
