Software Engineer 2 DevSecOps role at L3Harris Technologies Tulsa, OK. Schedule: 9/80. This role focuses on DevOps for Windows environments and enabling CI/CD, with teams working on defense-grade software and autonomous/multi-spectral systems. Responsibilities
Implement and develop automation tools for Windows-based development and operations. Create and manage Docker environments for Windows (MS Build Tools) and administer Windows Docker and Shell environments. Develop and integrate the GTest unit testing framework. Work with C++ / C# and support development, administration, and management of the Atlassian tool suite. Manage a hosted Kubernetes cluster (Nutanix) and create/deploy CI/CD pipelines for various projects. Develop and administer containerized solutions (Docker, Podman) for software teams. Develop and implement static code analysis and software composition analysis tools for cybersecurity governance of software products. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred), with 2 years of experience, or a Masters degree with 02 years of related experience. U.S. citizen Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, container building, artifact management; virtualization and Windows Docker; scripting Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) Experience with software development and deployment (source control, build, deployment, configuration) Experience performing CI/CD in on-premises environments Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration in a diverse, multidisciplinary team Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Preferred Additional Skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance CI/CD experience with embedded systems Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket) Experience standing up a CI/CD pipeline from scratch Experience with Linux Container tech (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools CI/CD and artifact management for C++, Python, C#, Java, or other languages Software engineering background with C++ or Python Familiarity with cybersecurity, Secure Coding practices, CMMC, PlatformOne Familiarity with static code analysis tools (Coverity, SonarQube) and software composition analysis tools (BlackDuck) Equal Opportunity and Privacy
