This position will focus on developing analytics tools and data processes that foster data-driven decision-making across the tripartite consortium. This position will work with a wide range of data types and domain areas. Our stakeholder groups include Human Resources, Workforce Operations, Medical Staff Office, Provider Services Organization, Graduate Medical Education, Legal Affairs, Corporate Compliance, Billing Compliance, and Information Security. This position will also work hand in hand with five other Strategic Analytics core teams, as well as the Data Platform, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Literacy teams to support their efforts.The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for independently collaborating with stakeholders to build dashboards and conduct analyses to provide information and insights that contribute to sound strategic planning, decision-making, goal setting, and effective performance measurement. The incumbent will maintain project plans and priorities, understand the needs and technical specifications of incoming data requests, extract data elements from various sources, design and build useful analyses, and share development and process knowledge with other analysts to eliminate redundancy and continuously build a core of analytical strength within the organization.**Requires 4 days on-site presence; therefore, should live within a commutable distance. No relocation assistance available.****Required Criteria:*** Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Policy, Biostatistics, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience* Proficient in SQL, Python, and database modeling* 3 or more years of previous work-related experience* Experience with healthcare data in provider or payer setting* Experience with data visualization Power BI* Clear demonstration of technical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills* Excellent attention to detail and a positive, customer-centric attitude* Epic Module Certification (Cogito) or obtainment within six months of employment**Preferred Criteria:*** Masters Degree* Prior experience with Epic Clarity data models or other clinical and/or financial systems* Prior experience with payer claims data* Prior experience with Kronos/UKG data models or other workforce management systems* Prior experience with MD-Staff or other provider credentialing/privileging systems* Strong understanding of database design, architecture, relational databases and data modeling* R, SAS, SPSS, Stata or similar software for statistical analysis and data scienceJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
