Data Coordinator/Payroll Assistant

This role involves managing and validating data from various sources and ensuring the integrity of databases across platforms. The position supports business operations by generating reports and dashboards, collaborating with teams to streamline workflows, and resolving data discrepancies. Additionally, the role assists with processing payroll, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: Clean, validate, and manage data from multiple sources. Maintain databases and ensure data integrity across platforms. Generate reports and dashboards to support business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies. Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing. Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and garnishments. Prepare and submit payroll reports and assist with audits. Assist in processing new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments in the payroll system. Essential Skills: Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables. Experience in data analysis and management. 3+ years of full-cycle data entry and/or payroll processing experience. Knowledge of ERP platforms and/or payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or similar. Familiarity with timekeeping software, specifically Kronos. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience with benefits, garnishments, accruals, labor, and adjustments. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Strong organizational and communication skills. Work Environment: The position is fully office-based, operating within a team of three other Payroll Specialists and additional Data Entry Clerks. The working hours are strictly from 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for overtime. The team reports to the Payroll Manager, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
