Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regional Transportation Co-op to join our Supply Chain team. The co-op will work closely with the transportation team to support the coordination, planning, and execution of transportation operations across various regions. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management within a leading healthcare company. You will be responsible for: Assisting in analyzing transportation data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Supporting the planning and execution of transportation strategies for regional logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, inventory management, and distribution to streamline transportation processes. Participating in the development and implementation of transportation plans that align with business objectives. Helping maintain communication with carriers and logistics providers to ensure service level agreements are met. Assisting in the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation efficiency and effectiveness. Conducting research on transportation best practices and emerging trends to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participating in meetings and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager or relevant team members. Qualifications/requirements: Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools (Power BI, SQL or Python is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software is a plus. Passion for supply chain and transportation logistics. Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship. The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidates program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension).
