Senior Vue.js Developer at ROC (Rank One Computing Corporation). This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Vue.js to deliver high performance and great user experiences. Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr ROC is an employee-owned developer of computer vision based biometric and video analytic technologies. The ROC SDK provides leading algorithms, and ROC also develops full-stack, end-user systems that leverage the SDK. Our products support financial services, law enforcement, military, and consumer electronics applications. Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Vue.js. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep applications current and competitive. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews. Participate in agile development processes, including program increment planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development. Extensive experience with Vue.js and its core principles. Strong proficiency in JavaScript. Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Experience with modern build tools and development workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm). Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desired / Relevant Skills And Experience
Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Cypress). Experience with TypeScript. Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React or Angular. Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation. Understanding of accessibility and security compliance. Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
