Job Description: Regular and predictable attendance is required. The Company’s Production System Training (PST) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Employee Development Specialist to join their group in Everett, WA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical assembly who has a passion for training the next generation of skilled workers. This position supports our internal Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) curriculum which provides wire harnesses, family group assemblies, power panels, and electrical shelf assemblies to commercial jetliners.
Overview
The position is based in Everett, WA, onsite with a focus on electrical assembly and training. The selected candidate will be expected to work onsite at one of the listed location options and may support off-shift as necessary. Shift: Second shift, Start Time: 2:00 PM, End Time: 10:30 PM. Duration: 12 months. Start ASAP. Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g., preparation, delivery, assessment of student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement). Clearly convey information using a variety of media to engage audiences and aid understanding and retention. Identify business-specific learning objectives and adapt curriculum content and delivery methods. Identify potential issues impacting performance and recommend improvement actions. Assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors. Analyze, validate, optimize, and coordinate training requests for new hires, recalls, and transfers. Provide support for off-shift as necessary. Collaborate within ESRC to align training with Boeing Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS) standards. Basic Qualifications (Required)
Experience with giving presentations and public speaking. 1+ year of experience using reporting tools. 3+ years of experience with electrical assembly and/or electronic materials. 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting detailed work instructions, blueprints, and drawings. Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment. Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) process knowledge. Strong experience with electrical systems (fabrication, installations, testing, troubleshooting). Strong experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS). Experience with operating/navigating tools and standards (Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications, Standard Work Instructor, Standard Operating Procedures, Redars). Experience designing/developing course content and instructional materials. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Experience using learning management systems (e.g., My Learning). Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail. Target Start Date: ASAP. Domestic travel not required; international travel not required. Position Details
