The Director, Global Commercialization Excellence Oncology works across the oncology portfolio to help increase the competitiveness of key programs. The role works as a marketing strategy consultant, and focuses on elevating commercial strategy development, accelerating the commercial execution roadmap (from pre-launch through post-launch), and driving commercial success across markets and across the portfolio. With his/her knowledge of strategic marketing, medical/scientific strategy, and market access, the Director, Global Commercialization Excellence Oncology will help prepare for best-in-class product launches and help to deliver the Global Core Asset Strategy. In addition to direct support for the oncology portfolio, the Director, Global Commercialization Excellence Oncology will also identify organizational needs for commercial capability enhancement and drive the delivery of improved capabilities across Therapeutic Areas. Key Responsibilities: Global brand strategy: Proactively partner with DAS teams to create an integrated Global Core Asset Strategy that incorporated products, from pre-launch through post-launch. Ensure commercial strategies are grounded in insights that address market needs in future competitive environments. Apply MarketingX best practices to help teams optimize and communicate asset potential in preparation for milestone investment decisions, long-range planning and business planning. Global launch planning: Collaborate with GCSO teams to build effective and innovative go-to market approaches for compliantly competitive and flawless launches. Ensure global launch readiness in all aspects of product development, from labeling and launch sequencing, to packaging and naming. Partner to champion well-coordinated global launch plans. Help prepare teams for Global Launch Readiness reviews. Accelerate organizational capabilities: Modernize Marketing Excellence and Launch Excellence approaches and deployment for consistent utilization across GCSO teams to elevate in asset strategy creation to propel winning product launches. Continue to identify build meaningful capability expansion within GCSO and in connection to the regions. Qualifications Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in business or life sciences is preferred. Experiences: A minimum of 10 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or relevant industry is required. In-line (promotional) marketing experience with brand responsibility in dynamic and innovative specialty therapeutic area is required. Prior oncology experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies and actions Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-geography. Global strategic marketing experience with commercial responsibility in pre-launch product development and commercial launch environments is preferred Other preferred experiences: Launch experience, global market access and medical strategy Leadership Strengths: Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders in US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM is required Enterprise mindset, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority is required Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive decision making is required. The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $146,000-$251,850 Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
