**This role is located in Austin, TX and may require occasional work in the office.****About the role:** As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead at least 2 senior teams who are responsible for some of the most crucial aspects of our Identity Security Cloud Platform. This team builds backend services, data stores and APIs. . Stakeholder management is a significant aspect of this role; you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Quality, DevOps and Customer Facing teams. You should proactively seek to listen and find alignment with other engineering teams and stakeholders by understanding your team's technology, building strong relationships, and insisting on high-quality solutions **Requirements:** - 8+ years in a Software Engineering Management role on backend services exposing APIs- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer- Deep knowledge of complex and scaling SaaS products, agile processes and workflows, and experience implementing them- Technical experience and fluency at the architectural level, enabling easy discussions with engineers- Experience with Microservice architecture.- Extensive experience architecting, designing, and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environmentExperience architecting highly distributed and available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability - Onboard into your new role, get familiar with our product offering and technologyYour team size and skills are aligned to your roadmap and is operating efficiently SailPoint is a leading provider of identity security for the modern enterprise.
