Job Description Senior Tax Manager - Public Accounting | Hybrid Work Model | $110K-$135K Join a dynamic, growing public accounting firm in Waltham, MA as our Senior Tax Manager. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll leverage your expertise to manage complex tax engagements, provide strategic guidance to high-value clients, and mentor the next generation of tax professionals. Lead and oversee complex tax engagements for diverse client portfolios Manage and review federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, 1040, 1041) Direct and mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional development Conduct sophisticated tax research and provide strategic planning solutions Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering expert consultation on complex tax matters Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all tax deliverables Stay ahead of tax legislation changes and implement best practices Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred) Active CPA license or in final stages of certification 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience with emphasis on tax Proven expertise in tax compliance and planning strategies Strong leadership abilities and excellent client relationship skills Advanced proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite Why Join Us:
