As a Construction Superintendent, you'll be the on-site leader responsible for driving project execution, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery. You'll coordinate teams, solve problems in real time, and serve as the key point of contact for field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with design, schedule, and budget.
- Manage subcontractors and crews to maintain progress and safety compliance.
- Coordinate daily operations including scheduling, logistics, and material control.
- Resolve field issues through drawing interpretation and construction expertise.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and other regulations.
- Monitor productivity, equipment usage, and material flow.
- Maintain documentation and report non-conformances with corrective actions.
- Support project management with QA/QC processes and procedural improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years as a Superintendent on federal or military projects valued at $20M+.
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
