Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct renovations that involve electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Work with low voltage systems as required for specific projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Skills
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations. Experience with frame carpentry is a plus for renovation projects. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members on-site. Qualifications:
Massachusetts Licensed Electrician
New Hampshire electrical license helpful
Valid Driver’s license
Ability to pass CORI/SORI checks
10 Hour OSHA Certification
Good attitude
