Job Summary: The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the company's compliance specialist with all import and export classifications, with a focus on Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This role involves gathering /reviewing documentation for imports and exports and assisting in Duty drawback preparation.
Essential Functions Accurately classify products under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assign Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) based on technical specifications and regulatory guidelines Assist in ensuring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for defense-related products and technology. Monitor and ensure adherence to U.S. export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions
Required Skills Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Excel knowledge Understanding of U.S. export controls, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations. 1+ years experience Required Education : Bachelors Degree
Desired Education : Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified International Trade Professional (CITP)
