Responsibilities
Reporting to the ICS School Board, the Head of School will: Directly supervise the Dean of Elementary School, Dean of Middle & High School, Athletic Director, and Operations Team; indirectly supervise all employees. Lead academic, spiritual, and cultural direction in alignment with ICSs mission and values. Oversee curriculum, instruction, and faculty development to ensure excellence and robust integration of faith and learning. Recruit, develop, and hold faculty and staff to high professional and spiritual standards. Establish operational efficiency through systems of accountability and data-informed decision-making. Direct strategic growth in enrollment, financial sustainability, and advancement initiatives. Cultivate donor relationships and strengthen partnerships with local churches and Christian organizations. Serve as a visible, approachable presence with students, parents, and community stakeholders, including the Spiritual Accountability Partnership (SAP) of church leaders.
