Position Overview:
The Business Development Associate is a fast-paced role supporting Acadians Americas Business Development team. Aspects of the role include regular and ongoing communication with internal teams and external contacts, coordinating, preparing and participating in sales meetings and follow-up, maintaining lists of top prospects and opportunities, coordinating monthly updates and outreach, lead generation, activity prioritization & managing new account start-ups. This position is ideal for a dedicated, energetic and confident individual who is passionate about the financial services industry and is seeking a long-term career in institutional sales and/or other client-facing roles. Employees are on-site in the Boston office 3 days a week. What Youll Do: Facilitate, schedule and prepare materials for prospect & partnership meetings. Attend prospect and partnership meetings, write meeting notes and assist with follow up. Ensure prompt responses to prospect inquiries and requests. Identify new prospects, maintain list of top prospects and opportunities. Ensure CRM system is accurate and current, facilitate monthly update outreach campaigns. Manage new account start-ups, collaborate with internal teams. Establish and maintain strong relationships with various internal functional groups (i.e., PM team, Product team, Consultant Relations, Marketing Visualization, Compliance, Operations). Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent; pursuit of MBA and/or CFA is desirable 1-5 years of financial industry experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with an investment management firm is preferred Extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or with a variety of colleagues in a fast-paced environment Application and Notices
